Horse livery

A livery yard that keeps you in the picture.

Owners want to know what is happening. Yard managers want to stop explaining the same thing fifteen times a week. Both needs have the same solution.

The question asked fifteen times a week

“Has my horse been turned out today?” “Has the farrier been?” “Is the feed still the same?” These questions do not come from distrust: owners who only see their horse at weekends have no other way to find out. And answering them fifteen times a week costs a yard manager half a day every month.

The problem is access to information. Once owners can check the information themselves, they no longer need to ask.

Where my horse is

On a map of the yard, drawn over a real aerial photograph. Every paddock and stable can be selected to show the horses in it. Movements are recorded, so you can see when your horse went out, when they came back in and who logged it.

A tablet mounted in the yard serves this very purpose: staff can record “turned out”, “brought in” or “fed” in one step, and every entry names the person who made it. No personal data appears on this screen : no payments or contact details.

What my horse eats

The ration records the exact product, quantity and unit, with supplement courses and their dates. The catalogue includes source-backed SOAL Racing 2026 products. The analysis shows known intake and missing data; unknown grass intake or missing digestible protein values are not invented. The feeding table helps the team find what is planned.

What happens to my horse

Care brings together due items, appointments, authorised professionals and the history of visits, reports and files. Recording completed care and completing a due item remain two explicit actions. Profession-specific reports and diagrams provide dated, sourced findings within the horse’s permissions.

A reported problem remains in follow-up until a recorded resolution. Authorised people can find the information in the app. Receiving an alert depends on settings and the network; it should not be your only way of notifying someone in an emergency.

That is the difference between a message sent on a Saturday evening and a problem you know has been dealt with. Explore horse care records.

What is left to pay

Livery charges are tracked month by month through three stages: unpaid, reported as paid by the owner and confirmed by the yard. Each change notifies the other party and leaves a dated record. No payments go through the app : it tracks where things stand without collecting money.

Ride freely, with every session accounted for

Owners are free to ride their own horse as often as they wish. Every ride, whether a lesson, a schooling session or a hack, counts towards the horse's workload, with limits set by the yard for each horse and alerts to match. Freedom for the rider and visibility for the yard, without compromising either.

After a ridden session, keep more than a distance

Lesson and ridden-session memories highlight recorded or timed duration and your photos. The film can include the planned exercise in 3D, with a 360° camera where available. You choose the data, JPEG or MP4 file and sharing; partially recovered data remains labelled as such.

Who can see what, and how much

Owners set the visibility of each category in their horse's records: what stays between them and the administrator, what people linked to the horse can see, and what is shared with the whole yard. They can also share sections of the profile with friends at other yards, or make everything “Only me”.

The horse remains theirs, and so do the records. If they move yards, the horse's profile, care records and history go with them.

Frequently asked questions

Can owners see everything about their horse?

The owner can find their horse’s authorised information and manage available sharing. This does not open a professional’s drafts or internal notes, or other people’s private data. Finalised reports follow their own access rules.

What happens if a horse moves to another livery yard?

The profile, complete care records and history stay with the owner. The horse does not belong to the yard where they live, and neither do their records.

Does the app handle livery invoices?

No. It tracks paid and unpaid charges through three stages, with a history of every change. It does not issue invoices or collect payments.

Can a yard see another yard's horses?

Its role alone does not allow it to consult another yard’s records. Chosen sharing, a current link to a horse or a professional agreement can allow specific content. Access is checked on the server for each section.

Do I need to keep a horse at livery to use Paddoco?

No. A horse can live “at home”, linked to an account without belonging to any yard, with the same care records and reminders.
